Bavaria Revamps Cruiser Range
Bavaria Yachts’ 14-month project to revamp its Cruiser range of keelboats was completed recently with the release of the Cruiser 51.
The new yacht completes the renovated six-boat Cruiser line that began with the C33 and tops out with the C56. The C51 and her sisters were developed by Bavaria together with Farr Yacht Design (USA) for the naval architecture and Design Unlimited (UK) for exterior styling and interior design.
Bavaria says its new Cruiser exterior has proved popular with customers and is carried over to C51, including large panoramic roof window with two opening hatches and large swimplatform. The new cockpit layout features bigger helm seats, a new table with larger side leafs and lamp, increased storage and new steering system.
The C51’s interior has been refreshed and optimised as per the rest of the range, rounded edges, solid wood fittings and furniture said to figure prominently throughout as well as the galley breakfast table setup from the C56.
Bavaria said another unique feature is the optional Flexschott system, where the forepeak cabin can be transformed from two smaller cabins into a single owner’s suite.
