ALASKA 49 YF MAKES WORLD DEBUT AT SANCTUARY COVE
The Gold Coast’s Leigh-Smith Cruiser Sales is planning to stage the world launch of the Alaska 49 Yacht Fisher at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
The 49ft aft-cabin boat is the newest model in Alaska Motor Yachts fleet, and hull one has been bought by Australian owners. She is described as a modern take on a classic family layout with the focus on space and liveability.

All cabins have a contemporary interior design with a mix of modern fabrics and timber accents, plus natural light and ventilation as well as air-conditioning.
The multi-level fishing cockpit includes access to the master stateroom aft, stainless steel-lined icebox, cockpit controls, tackle drawers, and hot and cold water for sink and deck shower. A moulded staircase leads to the cockpit’s upper undercover sundeck with moulded L-shape settee to port and fridge with Corian bench starboard.
Powering the Alaska 49 Yacht Fisher are two of the latest 480hp Cummins QSB6.7 engines to a reported top speed of 21kts.
