News - Mercury announces new Regional Manager for QLD and the NT
Mercury Marine has appointed Nic Kitchen (above photo) as its new Regional Manager for Queensland and the Northern Territory.
“We believe Nic is an excellent addition to the team,” said John Temple, Mercury Marine’s General Manager, Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific. “We had a very strong field to choose from but we believe Nic has the energy, ideas and skills which are perfect for the job. He’s going to do very well,” he said.
According to Mercury, Kitchen has extensive experience in sales and product management having spent the past 15 years with Volvo’s commercial vehicles division and Polaris Industries, which manufactures all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles
and electric vehicles.
“Personally, I really enjoy working with products that are both innovative and industry-leading — Mercury delivers on both of these,” said Kitchen. “We’ve got great products and the most experienced marine power team in the industry, so I’m really looking forward to the future.”
Mercury said Kitchen has already taken up his new position with Mercury Marine and will be in the field meeting clients very soon.
