New Boats - Bavaria Launches New Sport Line
The changes keep coming from Germany’s big boat brand Bavaria, the yard announcing a revision of its sportscruiser Sport line with a completely new collection.
The new Sport fleet comprises the 29, 32, 35, 39 and 44, replacing the Sport 28, 31, 34, 38 and 43.
Bavaria said the redesign includes innovative styling cues outside and below deck, and all models now available with hydraulic steering as standard.
Sport models from 35-foot and up now feature a long, sleek, panorama window and large hull window as standard set within a coloured decal stripe. The hull stripe is available on all Sport boats and completed by stylised ventilation openings at the back of the hull sides.
Below deck, Bavaria tells us numerous hull windows create a “light and welcoming ambiance, while the high-quality furnishings and veneers all reinforce the exclusive design”. In addition, for owners ordering the optional multi-media package, the 19in TV has been upgraded to a 22in screen, while teak flooring is optionally available in place of iroko across all models.
From August 2012, all Volvo Penta EVC (Electronic Vessel Control) diesel motors will be equipped with an e-Key. Swiping the e-Key in front of the control panel unlocks the system, with only a press of a button needed to start the engines.
Meanwhile, Bavaria has announced a price of Euro 62,900 as the base price for its new 33-foot Cruiser 33 sailboat.
