Fairline Feasts on Asia-Pacific

Luxury British boatbuilder Fairline Boats reports continued record sales in the Asia-Pacific region at its annual Regional Business Conference in Singapore on April 27 to 29.

According to the company the area, including Australia and New Zealand, has become a fast-growing and significant market with record sales since 2008, a strong order book and on-going delivery of new models.

Fairline’s Singapore meeting, coinciding with the Singapore Yacht Show, gathered 11 dealers from its Asia-Pacific network: China, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Western Australia and Victoria, in what was the biggest attendance since the conference launched three years ago.

“We are delighted to see year-on-year growth in this important part of the world,” said Jones.
“As well as core sales, marketing, customer support and product discussions, the conference is an open platform for debate and dialogue enabling us to learn and implement better ways of working throughout the Fairline network.
It also complements our Annual Global Business Conference.”

In addition to a full-day conference, one of the highlights was the annual Fairline Awards Dinner. Held at Amara Sanctuary Resort, Sentosa, the Brit builder said the awards recognised the region’s best dealers for outstanding sales made and matched with exemplary customer service.

Sales were topped by Greater China closely followed by Western Australia, New Zealand, India, Thailand and Singapore.
