NEW BOATS - Maritimo to commence production on a 45ft cruiser

Maritimo to commence production on a 45ft cruiser

Following the success of its 48ft cruiser, luxury boat manufacturer Maritimo is gearing up to commence production on a 45ft version, the M45.

The new range will be the fifth and smallest in the Maritimo’s cruising motoryacht line-up, joining the M48, M53, M56 and M60.

The M45 designs were developed in consultation with dealers and Maritimo owners, combining some of the maker’s most popular features with a few new innovations, like the recessed walk-around side decks offering easier access around the vessel.

According to Maritimo’s marketing director Luke Durman, the M45’s saloon will be a similar size to those in the M48 and M53, with large forward windows and a day lounge that converts to a two-berth bed.

The M45’s two-cabin design will also feature two bathrooms, an aft galley and wide opening bi-fold saloon doors, an internal staircase leading to a three-sided enclosed flybridge with forward helm, and a transom barbecue console.

The aft full-width flybridge dinette lounge will convert to a double-berth bed, bringing the sleeping capacity of the M45 to eight. The M45 will come with the choice of twin shaft or two IPS propulsion models.

Mr Durman is confident that the new range will have broad appeal.
