Riviera consolidates Qld Dealer Network

NEWS - RIVIERA CONSOLIDATES QLD DEALER NETWORK

Australian luxury boatbuilder Riviera has moved to consolidate its Queensland dealer network under the R Marine Queensland (RMQ) banner with the merger into the group of Gold Coast dealerships R Marine Coomera and R Marine Runaway Bay. This it said will offer Riviera owners more than 49 years of combined knowledge in the brand.

The merger with RMQ will provide Riviera owners with one point of contact in the State for sales, service and care, seven days a week.

RMQ, formerly located at Riviera’s manufacturing facility at Coomera, is a multiple recipient of the annual Riviera Service award. The dealership offers the full Riviera line including Flybridges, Sport Yachts, Offshore Express and the new Motor Yacht Collection. It also has two mobile service and warranty vans for backup.

Riviera said its owners are never far from Riviera’s support service through the R Marine network, and for service in the Whitsundays they have Casey Dent based at Airlie Beach.

RMQ said it will continue to handle sales from both Gold Coast dealerships, with service and warranty work coordinated from the Coomera dealership.

RMQ’s Randall and Melinda Jones have been associated with the Riviera brand for the past 10 years.

Randall said he welcomed the merger and looks forward to hosting a range of boating and other events in 2010 for new and existing members of the Riviera family.

“There is a large contingent of Rivieras here on the Gold Coast and I encourage owners to register with us so we can notify them of upcoming Riviera Experience events we are planning to hold this year,” he said.

RMQ will host a range of events for Riviera owners including the Kooringal Weekend in March, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May, the Canaipa Passage Weekend in July, the Great Sandy Straits Experience in September, the Jacaranda Festival Experience in November and the RMQ Christmas Beach Party in December .

“The RMQ team are dedicated to providing the highest quality owner care with a proactive approach when it comes to routine service, warranty, brokerage or new-boat sales,” Randall said.

Riviera CEO John Anderson congratulated Randall and the team at RMQ for their continued professional and dedicated work ethic.

“Rest assured that at Riviera we will do whatever it takes to make your boating dream come true, we will have someone on hand to give you the personal advice and help you need,” John said.
