Fur seal rescued from near Narooma

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) staff were called out on Tuesday, August 11, to help rescue the second fur seal needing assistance on the Far South Coast within the week. 

The small seal became entangled in the shark net at the Bar beach inside the Narooma Channel, but was soon released. NPWS staff at Merimbula also rescued a seal that had become entangled at Merimbula last week.
