Multihull Solutions appointed Sunreef Yachts importer

Multihull Solutions says it continues to go from strength-to-strength following its appointment as the exclusive importer and distributor for Sunreef Yachts in Australia, NZ and the Pacific Islands.

The company said it has exclusive representation for many of the world’s leading multihull brands including Fountaine Pajot, Trawler, Catana, Dolphin Catamarans and now Sunreef Yachts.

“Sunreef Yachts specialises in luxury sail and power catamarans from 60 to over 150 feet in length. Planned in the smallest detail with an emphasis on comfort, style and safety, these exceptional yachts are designed especially for clients seeking luxury, stability, innovative design, incomparable performance and generous space,” said Multihull Solutions.

“Established by Francis Lapp in the famous seafaring city of Gdansk in Poland in 2000, Sunreef Yachts quickly revolutionised the yachting world by creating a new product on the market: the custom-made, large-sized luxury catamaran.

“Since then, the shipyard has launched a wide range of single and double-deck sail catamarans, power catamarans and state-of-the-art superyachts. There are now more than 40 Sunreef Yachts in international waters, and the brand continues to garner acclaim within the demanding industry of luxury yacht building,” Multihull Solutions said.

The company added that Sunreef Yachts is also one of the few shipyards in the world building semi-custom yachts using epoxy resin systems and high-performance fibreglass products coupled with carbon reinforcement in high-load areas.

Multihull Solutions said over the next two years, Sunreef Yachts will create a new 25,000m² purpose-built manufacturing facility enabling the construction of yachts more than 50m in length.

Multihull Solutions plans to showcase a scale model of the Sunreef 70 power catamaran at the 2009 Sydney International Boat Show (30 July to August 3), plus scale models of the entire Fountaine Pajot and Trawler range and a Catana 47. The company added it will have a Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40 and Orana 44 on display for inspection and test sails.

Multihull Solutions said it has a dedicated office on the Western Marina Arm at Cockle Bay Marina, including a client lounge for visitors to relax in while discussing their boating requirements with its team.
