AMSA board appoints Michael Taylor

New AMSA Board Member Mr Michael Taylor AO has been appointed to the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Board.

Michael Taylor has previous experience in the maritime transport regulation sector, including as Secretary of the then Department of Infrastructure Transport, Regional Development and Local Government between 2004 and 2009.

He has also previously led the Australian Government Agriculture Department and held Secretary appointments across several Victorian Government departments since 1992.

Taylor has been appointed to the Board for a period of three years.
