NEWS - AIMEX and SYBA at Monaco Yacht Show
Australia’s internationally focused marine industry organisations, the Australian Marine Industry Export Group (AIMEX) and Superyacht Base Australia (SYBA), said they will put their joint weight behind a strong Australian presence at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show (Sept 22 to 25).
The mission, which plans to highlight the strength of the marine industry in Australia, will be joined by a number of the country’s leading marine manufacturers, yachtbuilders and refit specialists including HyDrive Engineeering, Muir Windlassess Australia, Azzura Marine, Refit Australia, VEEM Propellers.
AIMEX CEO, MaryAnne Edwards said: “This is an exciting opportunity to showcase the innovation of Australian marine manufacturers, and raise Australia’s profile as a destination for international superyachts. Our aim is to ensure Australia is on every superyacht cruising itinerary.”
“Australian marine companies have a reputation for competitive pricing and excellent quality — a winning combination in the current economic climate. We are confident of increased sales and superyacht cruising traffic this year for Australia,” says Edwards.
AIMEX and SYBA said the Monaco Yacht Show is considered one of the key exhibition events for the luxury yachting sector, held from September 22 to 25 at Port Hercules, Principality of Monaco.
