Horizon Yachts unveils the all-new FD90
A fusion of modern design and unrivalled performance, the latest FD90 from Horizon is custom-built for Australian yachting lovers.

Excitingly, following its debut at the 2024 Horizon Open House, the FD90 will be showcased at Pier G of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) — located on the Gold Coast — on the weekend of 23–26 May 2024. You can still pick up tickets here.
Modern design and spacious living
Horizon Yachts is delighted to bring the FD90 to market. The new vessel embodies a captivating blend of contemporary design and exceptional liveability, with the five-stateroom layout providing supreme comfort for both owners and guests.
The hallmark full-beam master stateroom on the main deck promises a luxurious oasis, while the four generous guestrooms on the lower deck ensure everyone on board has a tranquil retreat. The crew quarters and dining room for four are positioned aft of the engine room.
The well-thought-out modern interior with light grey oak cabinetry and warm golden accents creates a soft and inviting ambiance on board, echoing the timeless principles of Wabi-Sabi — a Japanese design aesthetic that celebrates simplicity and natural imperfections. This approach to interior design includes curved architectural lines which seamlessly flow throughout the open interior layout, creating a sense of spaciousness and connection.
Let me entertain you
The expansive full beam sky lounge, located on the bridge deck, is truly a sight to behold. The design seamlessly integrates the split-use sky lounge and bridge deck, creating a welcoming entertainment and leisure haven. An electric sunroof in the flybridge allows guests to bask in the sunshine or find respite from the elements — ensuring uninterrupted enjoyment day or night.
Further aft, a fully equipped bar with three swivel barstools, a teppanyaki barbecue station and a 43in TV set the stage for unforgettable gatherings. Not to mention the central circular heated jacuzzi tub and an arc-shaped lounging area beckon the most luxurious relaxation.
Versatility and comfort
Almost every preference was considered and is thoughtfully catered for on board the Horizon FD90. On the lower deck, the layout comprises mirrored queen-size VIP staterooms amidships, a twin cabin with a Pullman bunk to port and a unique multifunctional queen cabin in the bow with a bed that separates and rotates outwards to form two V-shaped twins. The soft, indirect lighting creates a calming ambiance.
From the spacious aft deck, large sliding doors lead into the main salon graced by the FD Series’ signature full-height windows. Forward on the main deck, a handcrafted glass partition creates privacy between the dining area embellished with ceiling-mounted double-layer bubble chandeliers and the well-equipped galley.
Performance and utility
An impressive set of Twin MTU 1600hp engines propel this yacht effortlessly, while upgraded VF1950 stabilisers ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. Twin 40kW generators and dive compressors are conveniently incorporated in the garage.
