2024 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show tickets on sale
Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is the most glamorous, immersive, unmissable boating lifestyle event in the Southern Hemisphere.
With less than four months to go, Australia’s largest marine lifestyle event — Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (better known as SCIBS) — is close to full capacity and attracting many of the biggest and best marine brands in the world.
Held at Sanctuary Cove Marina on the Gold Coast, the 35th annual SCIBS is set to be another banger of a Show. Held over the weekend of 23–26 May 2024, the whole Sanctuary Cove area will transform into a boater’s haven, showcasing everything there is to see in the marine industry from 300+ exhibitors.
This year’s SCIBS is once again brought to you by Mulpha Events — having a reputation for producing and delivering some of Australia’s most loved events. And the 35th Show promises to be better than ever, growing from each previous year’s event.
Expecting more than 47,000 visitors, 740+ boats on display and upwards of 2500 marine products, this year’s four-day event is highly anticipated by all those in the marine industry.
The industry’s newest products
After many years of developing a reputation for attracting the biggest names in boating from around the globe, Mulpha Events General Manager, Johan Hasser, said that attendees should once again expect to see world-leading ocean craft make their debut.
“We’re thrilled that many of the world’s foremost marine manufacturers are choosing SCIBS to launch their new products, with the announcement of many brands and models never before seen in Australia,” he said.
Among the boats making their debut, the gorgeous FD80 from leading brand Horizon Yachts is set to be unveiled this year. Horizon Yachts Australia Director, Mark Western, said it’s sure to attract the attention of those who imagine sailing the ocean in a vessel that balances style and space with superyacht amenities.
“SCIBS has always been our most successful Australian show … where the relaxed atmosphere, perfect weather and wide range of boats on display creates an environment like no other,” he said.
Top Queensland dealership Wynnum Marine has also chosen this year’s SCIBS to debut two new boat brands to the Aussie market — the Kingfish Powercat and the stylish Yamarin boats. Johnny Milton, Principal of Wynnum Brisbane, said SCIBS is the perfect setting to launch these boats.
“You get so many people through the door and such a large range of customers … we’re [always] really happy with the follow-up in sales enquires,” he said.
