BENETEAU set to debut the new Antares 12 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023

Get ready for the exciting launch of BENETEAU's Antares 12 at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September 2023.

With the Antares 12, BENETEAU

has taken another leap forward in terms of comfort, space and elegance on board, while still retaining the Antares identity and history throughout its design.

The innovations and attention to detail visible throughout the vessel were all carefully considered to enhance the owner’s ability to have fun while entertaining and cruising with family and friends.

Boasting an unmistakable style that turns heads and a versatility that makes it a great choice for all kinds of boating enthusiasts, the Antares 12 has all the hallmarks of the rest of the Antares line. And you’ll be able to check it out for yourself at the Cannes Yachting Festival (12–17 September 2023), where the Antares 12 will be world premiered.

“Designing a new Antares requires a keen sense of detail and balance. The new flagship of the line is no exception. The layout and equipment have been designed to optimise the feeling of space and comfort, and to improve the number of things you can do with the boat. Versatility forces you to look for the right balance between indoor spaces and outdoor circulation, between opening up to the elements and protecting passengers, and between performance and ease of use. Thanks to a close relationship with our customers, we have succeeded. Whatever model you choose, the Antares boat is for people who love the sea and who want to relax and enjoy boating and water sport activities with the family, and a new range of experiences on the water,” said Alexis CHAS, Antares product manager.

Elegant cruises that people like to share

For those wanting to enjoy sunny trips with friends or weekends away enjoying boating activities with the family, the Antares 12 is the natural choice. But it gets even better with the additional layer of elegance and comfort for extended cruises. The owner’s cabin offers a spacious and bright space with detailed trims and a private ensuite.

The VIP guest cabin also enjoys its own facilities, preserving everyone’s privacy. The highly modular third cabin can be easily transformed into a single or double berth — perfect for when you’ve got additional friends or family coming along for the ride — or can be used as extra storage when needed. And with the wheelhouse’s convertible salon, you can comfortably host up to eight people for a delightful night on the water.

Embodying the Antares style

The Antares 12’s modern look accentuates the profile and mindset that have made the line so successful over the last 45 years. The iconic design characteristics you expect to see on an Antares line model are prominent and well-blended. This includes the sheer line and hull windows that create an elegant line and offer plenty of natural light inside, and the iconic hardtop profile which blends well with the rest of the boat and is the foundation for the large flybridge.

Modern luxury, everyday comfort

It’s easy to be impressed by the Antares 12’s commitment to quality materials, with fabulous trims and generous, stylish interior spaces. Featuring ample windows, the wheelhouse has panoramic views and is a dream central living space for all-weather entertaining. The fully equipped galley allows you to give free rein to your culinary creativity and is an inviting space where you can savour meals while comfortably seated around the table in the lounge.

Living in harmony aboard

The allure of entertaining possibilities extends beyond the salon. Opening the three-leaf cockpit door transforms the salon and cockpit into a seamless indoor-outdoor space. The integration of the cockpit and wheelhouse lounge creates great flow from the Antares 12’s aft to fore. Easy movement on board is one of this model’s great strengths, with wide walkways and circulation space allowing for easy and safe access to the large sun pad and ensuring stress-free docking.

Sunny getaways and the joy of boating

Beyond its elegant design, the Antares 12 is also a great dayboat for fun trips with friends or comfortable holidays with the family. Sit back and relax in the three outdoor lounge areas: the sheltered cockpit, which is protected by the large iconic hardtop; the forward sun pad with an adjustable backrest; and the vast flybridge with a corner safe and fully fitted outdoor galley cabinet.

Each area provides plenty of seating and storage, ensuring everyone has plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the surroundings whether underway or at anchor. For those wanting to partake in water sports the side platform lowers, allowing easy access into and out of the water, making snorkelling and paddle boarding just a few steps away via the built-in swim ladder.

Technology serving comfort and pleasure

The Antares 12 is powered by twin Mercury latest generation Verado V10 400hp engines with an integrated joystick, ensuring you have the power and agility you need on the water. To meet all market expectations, the Antares 12 is also available with triple Mercury Verado V8 300hp engines. Exceptional visibility from either helm as well as an optional Seakeeper gyro give you the confidence to safely operate the boat in most weather conditions. For added peace of mind, the industry leading SEANAPPS system keeps you connected to your boat wherever you might be.

So, head to the Cannes Yachting Festival this September to witness the world premiere. Following this event, the Antares 12 will be premiered in the US at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which is being held on 25–29 October 2023.

BENEATEAU will also be premiering the Oceanis 37.1 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, so make sure you check it out.
