Maritimo’s anticipated S75 is now on show at SCIBS 2023

Maritimo unveils the magnificent S75 Sedan Motor Yacht at SCIBS 2023: A perfect blend of luxury and performance.

Maritimo, one of Australia’s leading luxury long-range motor yacht manufacturers, has launched its much-lauded and highly anticipated

at SCIBS 2023. This magnificent vessel embodies the essence of Maritimo, effortlessly blending authority and grace from every angle. Its elegant and decisive lines, complemented by the extended hardtop that provides coverage and protection from the elements, command a presence that cannot be ignored. 

The sleek Portofino hips, framing a delicate reverse sheer, add a touch of sophistication to the overall aesthetic, unveiling the S75’s distinctive proportions. The black accents on the targa bar, which houses the radar and satellite domes, give the yacht a sport-like feel and enhance its sleek profile and form. 

Maritimo’s renowned reputation for long-range blue water cruising is further enhanced by the S75. The yacht seamlessly integrates Maritimo’s signature deep-sided walk-around decks, leading to the generous forward outdoor lounge area. Here, guests can indulge in the freedom of open spaces, reclining on the free-standing sunbed or lounging on the forward-facing seating arrangement. 

Designed with purpose, the S75’s hull communicates inherent strength and the ability to effortlessly traverse long distances. Its exterior showcases massive panoramic glass areas in the hull and saloon, tantalising occupants with captivating views of the water. The curved front screen elegantly merges with the moulded form of the saloon, exemplifying the attention to detail throughout this yacht. 

The spacious rear Adventure Deck exudes grandeur befitting a superyacht. Spanning an impressive 18sqm, this space offers endless possibilities for all sorts of adventures and water-based activities. Positioned just above the waterline, the Adventure Deck creates a seamless connection with the ocean, inviting guests to enjoy the outdoors. And after an exciting day of enjoying the water, it transforms into a haven for relaxation, providing the perfect setting for lounging, barbecuing and unwinding while still enjoying the gentle ocean breeze. 

Up on the large upper-cockpit deck space, there is an alfresco lounging area that is not only perfectly appointed but also functional. These connected spaces offer plenty of opportunities for entertaining, alfresco dining or providing full-weather protection if needed. Maritimo’s well-known style and practicality are evident in the art gallery, boasting a refined palette of materials and finishes along with top-of-the-line appliances. The S75’s long-range galley caters to both indoor and outdoor dining areas. The storage and functionality design have been carefully crafted to meet the demands of extended stays aboard. 

Flowing seamlessly into the saloon, the panoramic glazed areas showcase a gallery of breathtaking seascapes. This zone provides dedicated lounging and dining options, while a 65in screen on the port side allows you to enjoy prime cinematic experiences. The screen swivels for viewing from the kitchen and even the upper cockpit. 

The master stateroom offers true indulgence, with both plenty of space and light from the glazing on both sides. The master stateroom spans the full width of the vessel and features a grand king-size bed positioned centrally and a three-quarter bream master ensuite with plenty of space and storage. 

Located forward and below are the S75’s airy staterooms and amenities for up to four additional guests.

The level of craftsmanship cannot go unnoticed throughout the S75. “You’ll notice that there are smooth moulded finishes everywhere on the vessel — even in the engine room when you look up,” said Operations Director, Phil Candler. 

“This is the result of continued development in our production processes and how we have designed and constructed the S75. It really is a new era for Maritimo. The main mouldings are backed up with moulded liners, which not only allow us to create sub-assemblies for synchronised production flow, it creates even more inherent strength in the vessel. We’ve added to our patented liner system which affords even greater ocean-going capabilities and further minimises any noise and vibration,” Candler continued. 

The S75 is powered by a combination of Scania engines, offering ideal power-to-weight ratios and cruising capabilities. Maritimo is also proud to be the first Australian manufacturer to offer an upgrade to Rolls-Royce Power Systems mut, featuring the 2000 Series V10 engines with 1625MHP per side. Performance, reliability, serviceability and range have always been at the forefront of engine selection for Maritimo, and the S75 is no exception. 

“We are incredibly proud to be launching this majestic vessel and indeed what it represents for Maritimo,” said Tom Barry-Cotter, Managing Director. 

“The S75 is the culmination of over three years of development by the dedicated Maritimo team. The company has invested many hundreds of thousands of hours in the planning, development and pre-production of the S75, collaborating with Maritimo owners intensively throughout the process.”

“When you consider the evolution of Maritimo over the last 20 years you understand that the foundations for the development of the S75 really started back then,” Barry-Cotter continued. “When Bill Barry-Cotter founded Maritimo back in 2003 he had the vision to see the scale of vessels that we would be producing today, and he set about creating an environment where that would be possible.”

“The global launch of the S75 heralds the start of Maritimo’s 20th Anniversary celebrations and what could be more fitting in our 20th year than releasing this grand vessel, the epitome of everything that is Maritimo.”
