TMG Yachts appointed as exclusive supplier of PRESTIGE Yachts

Australia’s TMG Yachts is now the official importer for the high-end French-based boatbuilder.

French luxury powerboat manufacturer PRESTIGE Yachts has appointed TMG Yachts as its sole distributor in Australia. As part of Groupe Beneteau, PRESTIGE Yachts is known for producing four different lines of powerboats, including the world-renowned F-line, flybridge yachts and sports sedans. The recently launched M-line of power catamarans has set a new standard in the segment, rounding out the company's complete offerings for the 40ft–80ft powerboat market.

Erwin Bamps, Vice President of PRESTIGE Yachts, said that Australia is an important yachting destination and a key market for PRESTIGE. The company's growing product portfolio, particularly with the introduction of the M-Line family of multihull motor yachts, offers an opportunity to expand the group’s presence in the Australasia market, with a clear focus on customer experience and service.

John Cowpe, Managing Director of TMG Yachts, expressed excitement about the partnership with PRESTIGE Yachts, stating that the French Art de Vivre (Art of Living) and unpretentious yet luxurious product sits well within their company's DNA. “These vessels are a fantastic fit for the Australian boating community. For those wishing to explore Europe before shipping over to Australia, there are lots of exciting options available”, he said.

Tanguy Tertrais, Sales Director Asia Pacific, stated that PRESTIGE Yachts' F, S, X, and M-Line models would be particularly appealing to the Australian market, which is always seeking space on board, comfort and luxury. The company's first opportunity to showcase its range with TMG Yachts will be at the Auckland Boat Show in March, followed by viewings at the factory in Italy and France. PRESTIGE Yachts will start to come to Australia towards the end of the year, starting with the M-Line.

TMG’s exciting new range is exhibited on the group’s website.
