Spotlight: Riviera 46 Sports Motor Yacht
Riviera’s latest yacht is sure to impress seafaring entertainers
Riviera, Australia's premier luxury motor yacht builder, has unveiled its newest 46 Sports Motor Yacht at a grand event on the Gold Coast. It joins the 68, 50, 64, and 72 models from the 2017 Sports Motor Yacht collection.
With features such as multiple entertaining spaces, a generous open flybridge that can accommodate eight guests in comfort, three double staterooms, two generous bathrooms and luxurious furnishings, the 46 Sports Motor Yacht is sure to impress. The yacht's boarding platform includes a retractable swim ladder, an optional high/low hydraulic platform and stainless-steel rails. A wet bar with electric barbecue, sink, hot and cold water, and storage is located in the cockpit, and a top-loading freezer and icemaker is located at starboard.
The alfresco deck further expands the saloon living space, with plush outdoor lounges, a folding timber dining table and an insulated icebox. The saloon offers a U-shape galley, timber dining table and luxurious U-shape lounge, and a second lounge. An electric-lift 43-inch TV is located on the dash.
The flybridge includes a helm, wet bar, twin lounges and a GRP dining table with six drink holders, while the accommodation deck features a master stateroom and ensuite bathroom forward. Guest staterooms are amidships. A combination washing machine/dryer is located under the stairwell.
Power is provided by twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS800s with IPS pod drives delivering 441kW (600hp) each, and an 11kW Onan generator is included to provide AC power. A hand-laid GRP hull with independent compartments throughout and a transverse GRP fuel tank are featured, as well as a 500-litre water tank and 151-litre holding tank.
Riviera includes a two-year express and seven-year structural limited warranty on all new models, as well as a five-year limited warranty on all Volvo Penta systems. The yacht also includes the Siren Marine remote monitoring and control system.
