Review: Numarine 37XP Luxury Yacht
With only four vessels sold so far, the Numarine 37XP is already making waves in the international market
Imagine it, walking along the longest Numarine yacht ever. At 37m, the 37XP is an impressive new flagship that was unveiled for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2021. The fourth unit was only recently sold — to be delivered in 2022 — so let’s deep dive into the first vessel to see what makes it so special.
Lush greys, whites, beiges and browns surround you as you step inside — the interior design is by Hot Lab, Numarine’s second project with the Milan-based studio. Huge, all-encompassing windows bring streams of natural light inside, the key feature in the entire XP series range. The owner of this first vessel was after richer detail and materials, bringing a modern revision to decorative materials of ebony, pearl and leather. As for the exterior, Umberto Tagliavini once again designed the naval architecture, with Can Yalman in charge of the exterior to create flowing and soft lines that make this already long yacht seem even longer.
All that extra length means this yacht has an incredibly spacious interior, perfect for entertaining and socialising onboard — with the floor to ceiling windows bringing immense light into the main deck saloon and cabins. Speaking of cabins, this vessel hosts seven guest cabins onboard, which includes the master suite on the main deck. A huge VIP cabin can be found amidship on the lower deck, while the lucky owner has their suite on the upper deck — lucky because you have direct access to the vast outside terrace through a glass door. While underway, this terrace is used as a tender garage which can carry up to a 9m long tender, and while launched, you can use this area for your favourite outdoor sports, sunbathing or for parties!
Looks aside, how does she ride? With a full displacement steel hill and a composite superstructure, the 37XP has an impressive range of 6000NM at 8 knots and 5000NM at 10 knots, on par with the rest of the world’s best expedition yachts in this class. She’s stable out at sea and has great handling to support both offshore and worldwide cruising, perfect for all your voyages.
If interested, this yacht can also feature a six-cabin layout for 12 guests and a private skylounge. In fact, the fourth 37XP sold comes with a designated beach club, sundeck jacuzzi and a boat deck that can carry up to an 8.5m tender and three jet skis, so don’t be afraid to tailor the yacht to your own preferences.
