Local Spotlight: Axopar 25

Axopar’s 25 is a crossover between comfortable day boating and extended island-hopping

Shaking things up

Axopar is known for seaworthiness and handling and the Axopar 25 is no exception. This 8-metre vessel offers more space, comfort and all-round capability in a smaller package while still adhering to other, larger models. It is available in two variants, the 25 Cross Bow — an open, spacious and versatile boat, perfect for those wanting to experience a windswept feeling at the helm — and the 25 Cross Top — perfect for all weather conditions with its bright, airy cockpit and canvas roof.

The wide helm console and front screen offer a helm seating area with more space and room for a step-through entrance to the front cabin. A full-width cushioned sundeck is positioned on the cabin roof, and a comfortable and relaxing sloped backrest follows the line of the front screen.

Peter Hrones, Eyachts Managing Director said it is exciting to have an eight-metre boat legally trailable in Australia and New Zealand and that the Axopar 25 Cross Bow and Cross Top are set to be the ultimate all-rounder.

“A good spread of deck seating modules and storage options will enable customers to configure the boat precisely to their every need,” he said.

“The two most popular layouts will most likely follow the Axopar 22 with the U-shaped dining for 6 to 8 people with optional sunbed and the other option being the enormous toy storage area in the cockpit.”

The white interior with grey seating and carpet

The boat is similar to the Axopar 37 with a bow cabin and toilet, allowing owners to stay on the water overnight, or while heading out to a further away destination while on the road — the raised ‘cuddy cabin’ defines the character of the boat. Perfect for Australian shores, an optional all-weather T-Top version can be chosen where the T-Top roof is fixed securely in place with discreet, black painted supports that are attached to bulwarks on either side. The roof itself is a fixed canvas top within a GRP surround and owners can choose an optional folding canvas top to allow sun and light into the cockpit.

The Axopar 25 was extremely well received at its debut at the 2021 Cannes Boat Show, with the two prototype boats to be rigorously tested for another three to four months before going into production in late January 2022. If interested, Eyachts will display the vessel at boot Dusseldorf in 2022.
