Maritimo’s return to FLIBS

The Fort Lauderdale International Boating Show (FLIBS) saw Maritimo’s debut of the M55 Flybridge and S55 Sedan motor yachts.

Dave Northrop, Maritimo’s President for the Americas, said the show was Maritimo’s best ever in the Americas, with an unprecedented number of inspections booked.

“FLIBS was the first time that the public had the chance to physically inspect and experience these two magnificent new vessels in this Hemisphere and they were blown away,” he said.

Marine industry journalists from throughout the Americas attended Maritimo’s VIP event, with a pre-recorded welcome by Maritimo’s Director of Design, Tom Barry-Cotter, being played.

“These guys know boats and are not easily impressed, but they were blown away by the two 55’s,” Northrop said.

The M55 was first revealed virtually at the June 2020 and had its Global Launch at the 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, with it advancing the M-series line into a new standard in its functionality, comfortability and living spaces.

Maritimo has now revealed or launched eight new models in the 2021 calendar year, with the Offshore Series also making a return in the M600.
