Maritimo to wow visitors at FLIBS
Maritimo to debut its newest releases to the American public
Australian luxury motor yacht manufacturer, Maritimo, will launch its two new models in America at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show | FLIBS
The M55 and S55 are the most successful global launches ever for the manufacturer.
Dave Northrop, Maritimo President for America, said FLIBS will be the first time the public has physically viewed the models, with many bookings already taken for personal tours.
“There is a great deal of anticipation and excitement in the buildup to the show and we are looking forward to a great show,” he said.
Tom Barry-Cotter, Maritimo’s Director of Design, said the team have redefined the iconic motor yacht M-Series and has advanced the features into a new standard.
The Maritimo M55
“The new M55 long-range cruising flybridge motor yacht fuses the latest advancements in technology and design with all of the legacy features carried forward from M-Series models past,” he said.
“Every aspect of the design has been obsessively considered and refined during the design and new-product-development process, to achieve the functional solutions, comfort, and living spaces we set out to achieve.”
The S55 is Maritimo’s latest addition to the sedan motor yacht series with its design expanding cockpit hardtop, giving it the capability to carry a weight of 350kg davit and tender to free up the deck and aft garage spaces.
The Maritimo S55
Barry-Cotter said immense time went into the S55’s R and D, with an uncompromising commitment to improved performance, robust construction and livability for the owner and their family and friends.
“The response to this new model has been very exciting, and we believe its momentum will only continue once American boaters are able to experience it in person,” he said.
The M55 and S55 were among a lineup of eight models revealed or launched in 2021, including the return of the Offshore Series with the M600 and its fishing and long-range family cruising capabilities.
A review the M55 can be found in Trade-a-Boat, along with a spotlight of the S55.
The latest models will be on display for the American public at the Show from 27 to 31 October 2021.
