Prestige X60

Prestige Yacht's newest sport yacht, the X60, is set to shine its way through it the Miami International Boat Show in 2022

After showing off its new multi award-winning 420 S-LINE at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Prestige Yachts continues to cement its place at the head of the sport yacht segment with the announcement of the X60.

Beginning with the X70 in 2021, the X-Line is characterised by large living spaces, easy flow of movement, and an abundance of natural light. The X60 — set to debut at the 2022 Miami International Boat Show — will feature unique architecture, clever layouts, and luxurious finishes.

Asymmetrical side decks on the main level allow for a real gain in interior and exterior social spaces. This unusual approach pays off, with Prestige saying the X60 has 40 per cent more space than a classic 60-footer. The wide spaces will feel even more open thanks to large electronically controlled sliding glass doors. Both sea air and passengers will flow freely through the social spaces.

The design approach continues on the roomy flybridge, 30 per cent larger than the average 60-foot yacht, according to Prestige, and is a luxurious space with 360 degree views.

Stepping inside, hidden push-button storage in the central galley maintains the light and breezy feel. There’s a saloon with seating area near the helm, so the pilot needn’t be left alone. The infinity cockpit, like so much of the design, is made with the aim of reducing barriers between you and the environment, achieved via expansive all-round views. All these spaces are made to be interconnected and favour the easy circulation in which so much of the design of this vessel is focused.

Below, the owners cabin has its own private access, while the VIP and guest cabins and several bathrooms provide maximum comfort with room for up to seven overnight.

Interior design is by Valentina Militerno, with a focus on high quality materials and finishes. Special attention has been paid to the woodwork and selection of luxury furniture and audio systems.

Power comes from two Cummins 600hp engines (shaft propulsion or ZEUS pod propulsion), with a cruising speed of 20–21 knots. For driving ease and ever-more comfort while underway, the X60 is equipped with Ship Control and with an optional Seakeeper gyrostabiliser.

With its focus on free-flowing spaces and a seamless connection to the sea, the X60 is a worthy successor to its sister vessel X70.
