Derwent Boat Sales now Arvor Australia’s Tasmanian distributor

Arvor Australia has expanded its dealer network, appointing Tasmanian Derwent Boat Sales as the state’s distributor.

Established in Australia over 25 years ago, the manufacturer released the new generation Sportfish range in 2021, with the 805 and 705 models offering a competitive price point with power options and innate fishing capabilities.

Tasmanians can now also enjoy Arvor’s new cruising-orientated Weekender models, such as the 675, which is trailerable and the most compact of the range.

John Radonic, Derwent Boat Sales owner, said he knows the brand will appeal to Tasmanian boat owners.

“The Sportsfish in particular is ideal for our market as it has been designed to be a stable fishing platform for environments such as the North Sea. With this new generation Arvor has taken that appeal to a new level,” he said.

Peter Collins, Managing Director of Arvor Australia, said Radonic’s knowledge of boats and the Tasmanian market is second to none and that they are excited to have him and his team on board.

“To have Derwent Boat Sales represent Arvor in Tasmania is an excellent way to showcase how our boats are ideal for Australia conditions,” he said.

The first of the Arvor models is already in the hands of a Tasmanian owner, an 805 Sportfish, with the first of the 705 Sportfish models in the water in Hobart this month.
