Water sports and adventure lovers have new options to have fun while out on the water with Sea-Doo’s 2022 Personal Watercraft Touring range. These GTX models feature the largest swim platform in the industry so, other than being comfortable, they are great to lounge on. They even have extra cargo space — perfect for a cooler perhaps? Simply lift the handlebar assembly to reveal the 96L cargo space within arm’s reach and have the direct-access front storage open without moving off your seat.
Owners of the GTX will also be able to ride while moving to the beat with the optional 100W BRB waterproof Bluetooth Audio System, with this feature standard on the GTX Limited. The remote-control pad on the left speaker allows riders to easily change the song and volume. A key feature of the GTX Limited is the high resolution, 7.8-inch Bluetooth Gauge which displays vehicle data and can pair with compatible phone apps to show details like maps and weather on your dash. The Limited include a USB port, a cover for the watercraft, storage organiser, knee pads, a depth finder and exclusive colouration.
Sea-Doo provides reliability and innovation with watercraft to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe riding experience out on the water. The wide hull creates a low centre of gravity and offers stability while riding the waves or anchored, as well as when boarding from the side. The GTX models also feature Intelligent Brake and Reverse to stop sooner. When both hands are on the handlebars, riders can engage forward, neutral and reverse for stable and worry-free manoeuvring at low speeds. Not only that, but comfort has also gone into the design of the touring range, with its stepped seat design being narrow at the front for a natural riding position and wider at the back for more comfort. This rear area can be removed for more lounge space, to sunbathe or as a table for two to enjoy a picnic.
Owners can choose the Rotax 1630 ACE engine with either 170hp or 230hp, depending on their needs, with the GTX Limited delivering 300hp of pulsing excitement. Both are equipped with Advanced Combustion Efficiency (ACE) technology and have great fuel economy. Coming standard on the Limited and as an added extra on the GTX, the Intelligent Debris Free Pump System (iDF) is available to clear a clogged intake in seconds with the push of a button.
