Local Spotlight — Sirena 68
The Sirena 68 is Sirena’s latest addition to its range, bringing size and customisation to a whole new level
Space for all
With its world debut at the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival, Sirena Yachts revealed its new yacht, the Sirena 68. With various accommodation layouts available and a wide range of colour pallet customisation options available, owners can tailor the 21 metre flybridge to match their needs and tastes.
The new addition is Sirena listening to the feedback of customers to stay in line with the top yachting manufacturers around the world. Sirena’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ali Onger, said the Sirena 68’s specialty starts with the details and brings together all the qualities experienced cruisers would seek in a new yacht.
“When each person steps aboard, their eyes come to rest on a facet or a fabric, an accent or an angle, some hint that lets them know they’re welcome in a way that is somehow simultaneously familiar and new,” he said.
The Sirena 68’s hull shape gives the yacht a large volume of space, meaning those onboard can spread out comfortably. The hull also allows displacement speeds for extended cruising, something unanimous to all Sirena’s range. The saloon has huge panes of glass windows that allow vast amounts of light inside, as well as gives guests the opportunity to watch the changing views as they zoom by. Inside the saloon is a dining area and open-galley, which is all reachable from the aft deck. In front of the galley is a large, U-shaped sofa for family and friends to gather without the helmsman feeling left out. The side decks outside the saloon have large sections cutaway of the bulwarks that improve the lines of site for those within. A second al fresco lounge can be found on the flybridge above, giving owners plenty of room to socialise and entertain guests.
The king-size berth of the master stretches across the full beam that’s nearly six metres long on the lower deck, giving a floating sensation due to the innovative lighting design as well as the large windows. The master has a his-and-hers head arrangement, alluding to luxury often seen in megayachts. At the forepeak lies a double cabin with a twin cabin to port, both with ensuites so that guests don’t miss out on the extravagance of the space.
The newest addition of Sirena’s growing fleet joins its line up of 18–26 metre yachts and stands as a middle ground between the Sirena 64 and Sirena 88.
