SL 1270 has many features to accommodate cruising comfort but also for performance sailing when required. Leisurely cruising or fast passage making, the SL 1270 has the versatility to achieve this.
The SL 1270’s combined good looks, performance, versatility and rugged construction is a great combination for your sailing requirements.
The large cockpit area featuring day lounge and table, and aft seating is perfect for entertaining all your friends in comfort for those beautiful sunny calm days or sundowners in the afternoon watching the sun go down. (optional under seat conveniently placed fridge for that bottle of wine or beer)
Extended wing deck allows access for tender storage and BBQ
Interior saloon is spacious, "L" shaped comfortable lounge, nav station, and incorporating large galley featuring induction cooking double bowl sink, refrigerator and freezer, lots storage areas.
2x double cabins forward. Guest cabin has ensuite starboard side. Owners’ cabin has WIR fwd and private spacious head and shower area port side aft
1x large double cabin aft starboard side, (with an option) this cabin bunk can convert to a workshop or storage for tools , diving equipment, fishing gear and electric bikes for land transport.
SL 1270 is FRP composite construction, &nbsp;available with mini keels or (dagger boards* possible small price increase for dagger boards)
This &nbsp;build is at a very early stage so we can include some extra equipment.
The SL1270 features head sail system that is conventional overlapping head sail and sheeted from the cabin top, or quickly converted to self-tacking system for easy sail handling.

Auto bulge pumping systems with alarms full electrical wiring looms 12volt 600 AH D/s house battery's and separate start battery systems, and 240v shore power with Gpo galley and saloon.
The SL 1270 is set up for shorthanded or single-handed sailing from an off set raised steering station all controls are at hand and easy to operate.
This SL 1270 build will come complete as above also including Seldon mast and rigging. Harken or similar deck gear and winches
Included is SPJ steering system, and auto pilot (B&amp;G compatible) developed in 2006 and has proven trans ocean capable, and has redundancy features in the unlikely situation the rudder is damaged.
Sail wardrobe includes, furling head sail and full battened Main sail.
A furling Reacher/code zero available on request*.
