Hartley 38 steel flybridge cruiser 1986: Blue Eagle is an impressive “classic” that has been restored to a high standard as an ideal liveaboard coastal cruising boat. Will be moored in Brisbane QLD from mid November the Hartley designed steel cruiser has had a complete mechanical overhaul and internal refit, has been equipped with latest navigation and safety gear, the steel hull is well maintained and was repainted in 2022 [Awlgrip polyester urethane] as well as being slipped, cleaned, antifouled and prop-speed in April 2023. Layout includes: Flybridge helm (fully appointed) with hard rear fly deck accommodating BBQ, fridge, esky, and tender with crane; Large saloon deck with second helm and fully covered aft deck with built in seating, storage and refrigeration; Lower level with two cabins [V berth and bunkroom] a fully equipped galley and bathroom. Mechanical: Single shift direct drive powered by a 150 Hp Gardner 6LX diesel fully rebuilt by Mainline Diesel QLD [2020] with approximately 200 engine hours since refit. Fuel Capacity 1200L. Rebuilt TwinDisk gearbox [2015], direct drive CAV alternator. Good fuel consumption of approximately 10 l/hr cruising at 8 knots. Sea Master Bow thruster SA45000QS100 24v [installed 2022]
